The leader of the Seshego community march against #illegalimmigration, Chris Mafalo, says he is disappointed by the Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba's recent operation targeting undocumented immigrants. Mafalo says the community has made progress, with some foreign nationals voluntarily returning to their home countries. He says the police are failing them, as undocumented immigrants are often detained for only a day or two before being seen in other areas. Mafalo says the Premier's actions have taken credit away from the community's efforts, after residents previously moved 18 undocumented immigrants and closed 24 shops during their protest. He says communities in and around Seshego that are also affected by illegal immigration should join their efforts as their campaign continue. The operation that was led by premier Ramathuba on Friday, resulted in the arrest of 339 undocumented immigrants. CM
