Hello Andre, you are right, that's the first step. Getting the desalination going again would be perhaps the second step, to secure a water mix out of different sources. The next dry period will come. As far as I know, the filters are done, + by now a lot of other equipment. If the municipality doesn't want to run it, due to lack of capacity and expertise, - privatise the whole plant. That company then can sell water to us / the municipality. Fixed costs, no risk. - Just an idea. With the right owner and a fair contract, for both sides, it will work. Just an idea....
