NOTICE TO THE TWALA COMMUNITY (Katlehong) To the residents of Twala, Katlehong: Please note that since your community has established and is financially supporting a local patrolling team to protect the area, Ekurhuleni Thathazonke Anti Crime Unit will no longer respond directly to incidents reported from Twala. This decision is made out of respect for the work of the local patrollers, as we do not want to create the impression that we are taking over responsibilities in an area where a dedicated team has already been appointed by the community. Should there be a need for our assistance, all requests must be coordinated through the local patrolling team, who will then contact us if additional support is required. We wish the patrolling team every success in their efforts to reduce crime and improve the safety of the Twala community. We look forward to continued cooperation whenever needed.
