MEDIA STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM THE HEIDELBERG & DISTRICT TAXI ASSOCIATION (HDTA) It is with profound sadness that the Heidelberg & District Taxi Association (HDTA) has learned of the tragic passing of KATLEHO, a young man whose life was cut short during the recent community protest. On behalf of the HDTA Executive Committee, members, drivers, and marshals, we extend our deepest and heartfelt condolences to the MOKOENA FAMILY, relatives, friends, loved ones, and the entire Lesedi community during this difficult time. We pray that God grants you strength, comfort, and peace as you mourn this painful loss. As one of the key stakeholders in our community, HDTA respectfully appeals to all residents to remain calm and allow the law to take its course. We urge everyone to give the relevant law enforcement authorities the opportunity to conduct their investigations so that justice may prevail. It is our collective responsibility to maintain peace, safety, and stability in order to create a conducive environment for everyone living within the Lesedi area.
