#EskomGauteng #DaveytonOutage #AttemptedCableTheft Customers in Daveyton Ext 2, 6, and parts of Basothong, Bhele and Mashanganeni are currently experiencing electricity supply interruptions due to an attempted cable theft at Vezi Substation yesterday, on 14 July 2026. Our technicians are on-site and have commenced repairs to restore supply as quickly and safely as possible. We anticipate that all work will be concluded and supply restored by 17:00. We urge community members to report any unauthorised individuals who operate on our equipment or are suspected of conducting electricity-related illegal activities, such as theft, vandalism, meter bypassing and illegal connections, to the Eskom Crime Line at 0800 11 27 22 or via WhatsApp at 081 333 3323. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
